This season brings a sense of clarity, a confidence that is no longer quiet. Pieces appear armour-like, cocooning outerwear shrouding a carefully constructed second-skin, sparkling and supernatural.
A collection built with control at its core, sheer pieces hang suspended, poised, ready and revealing. Suits are streamlined, their shoulders strong, striding alongside go-faster chevron stripes. Illusion-esque prints swirl across form-fitting silhouettes, distorting and disguising, a hidden weapon, an inside joke.
There is a uniformity without sacrificing self-expression and this season sees the arrival of carefully crafted leather goods, appearing as elegant extensions of each look and rendered in punchy shades of apple green, ruby red and the signature house monogram. Thigh-high leather boots draw the eye from the floor up, a female form plunged into pewter and returned to reality.
Otherworldly and in control, the superwoman reigns supreme.
